Who we are
ThaiMassageNearMe is the data controller for information collected on this website.
What we collect
We only collect what we need:
- Shop enquiries: your name, shop name, town, phone number, email and message.
- Bookings (when live): your name, contact details, chosen treatment and time, and any notes you give the therapist.
- Location: only if you choose “Use my location”, and only to sort shops by distance. It is not stored.
How we use it
To reply to enquiries, pass your booking to the shop you chose, send booking confirmations and reminders, and keep the service secure. We do not sell personal data.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe on behalf of the shop. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe’s own privacy policy applies to the payment.
Shops’ customer lists
Each shop controls its own customer list and is responsible for how it contacts its customers. Promotional messages are only sent to customers who have agreed to receive them, and every message includes a way to opt out.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
