Therapeutic massage only
We list businesses that offer traditional Thai massage and related therapeutic treatments, such as oil, foot, herbal compress and pregnancy massage. Treatments are for relaxation, wellbeing and the relief of muscle tension.
Licensed where required
Many councils, including most London boroughs, require massage premises to hold a special treatment licence. Every shop must hold any licence its council requires, and keep it up to date. We ask to see it before a shop goes live.
Trained practitioners
Treatments are given by trained massage therapists. Shops tell us about their therapists’ training, and clients can always ask.
Clear treatments and prices
Every listing shows real treatments, durations and prices, the shop’s address and opening hours. Photos must show the shop and its treatment rooms as they are.
Professional conduct
Shops treat clients and therapists with respect, offer a clean and safe space, ask about health conditions before a treatment, and respect a client’s wish to stop or change a treatment at any time. Clients are expected to treat therapists with the same respect.
What we never list
We do not list, and will remove, any business that offers or suggests anything other than therapeutic massage. We do not accept advertising or wording that implies otherwise. Requests for anything other than a therapeutic treatment are not welcome at any shop we list.
Report a concern
If something on a listing, or at a shop, doesn’t meet these standards, please email us. We review every report, may suspend a listing while we look into it, and remove listings that break these standards.
